The future of corporate travel

Event management

A leadership perspective

By Yasmeen Khan, Managing Director

At Travel Connections, we have always believed that corporate travel plays a far more strategic role than simply moving people from one destination to another. When managed well, travel enables stronger relationships, better decision-making and meaningful progress for organisations.

Over the past few years, the corporate travel environment has changed significantly. Expectations are higher, complexity has increased, and accountability now extends far beyond cost and logistics. Travel leaders and executives are increasingly being asked to think differently about how travel supports broader business objectives.

From my perspective, organisations that will navigate this next phase successfully are those that approach travel with clarity of intent — balancing traveller experience, responsibility, risk and value.
